Management
The Coral Restoration Consortium has established a strong network of restoration experts and a coordinated program to advance key areas of coral reef restoration. As a result, the CRC is positioned to serve emerging priorities in the United States and international community. However, there remains an important need to better communicate with, support, and align restoration practice with the community of coral reef managers and decision-makers.
The Management Working Group will:
- Provide a forum within the CRC working group structure for managers, practitioners, and scientists to share and receive information on science and best practices for coral reef restoration.
- Inform the integration of current and emerging knowledge of coral reef restoration into management strategies and decision support tools.
- Provide information exchange between managers and members of the other CRC Working Groups
- Help identify the production of resources oriented to the needs of reef resource managers and decision-makers.
